Growth Manager

Job Description:

RVD Communications is looking for an organized, bright, resourceful and deeply curious growth manager with capabilities in SEO, affiliates, and branded content to join our talented team. 

This person will play an integral role in assisting our clients with strategic, ROI-focused growth — from assisting with executing SEO strategies to coordinating/ideating branded content campaigns and arranging/managing various affiliate programs.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Understand how to secure paid media / branded content and have confidence in conducting initial outreach, evaluating worth/efficacy, negotiating budgets, brainstorming angles, and seeing entire project through to completion

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for issues associated with Search Engine Optimization (and able to explain to those unfamiliar with the subject); proactively offer strategic SEO campaign recommendations

  • Grasp of how to optimize earned & paid media for SEO purposes

  • Understanding of affiliate programs (networks like ShareASale, Refersion, etc. + entities like Skimlinks), how to begin, execute and negotiate with media brands

  • General understanding of key players (commerce editors/affiliate managers) and how to communicate with them

  • Regularly exhibit thought leadership on the latest industry trends

  • Ability to present reporting and analysis of all campaigns’ performance to client

  • Organized and able to not only ideate campaigns/strategies but clearly communicate definition, purpose, scope, deliverables, schedules, and budgets

  • Manage multiple engagements with multiple clients in a hands-on, ongoing fashion

  • Serve as liaison between RVD and client team members who specialize in growth strategies; keep account teams appraised on how to leverage editorial media in service of client growth
